A homegrown New Orleans girl with a love of food, New York and all things Bravo offering a realistic voice on current events, weddings, travel, girl talk and all social standards, or lack there of!

Originally created as 'The Proper Planner' this blog was an outlet for my day-to-day experiences through planning with my clients, vendors, and my city! But throughout the years, as my business grew to cover more than just wedding planning in New Orleans and my personal life grew to include a husband and children, so did the variety of subject matter that crept into my daily conversations.  As a completely uncertified "therapist" to my clients, friends and family, topics like current events, business practices, travel planning, new-aged etiquette, marriage, parenting, mental wellness and relationships of any kind (romantic relationships, friendships and the many dynamics that come from different families) became the norm.
